Common Questions

How do I know if I need a 30-minute or 60-minute session?
If you have a specific, focused need (like ADHD sleep coaching, follow-up support, or a quick check-in on your routine), 30 minutes is usually plenty. If it's your first time working with us or you want to dig into a child sleep issue, the 1-hour session gives us room to really understand your situation. We can help you decide during your free consultation.
Will I be matched with the right practitioner?
Yes — when you book, we'll connect you with the practitioner whose expertise fits your situation. Leah specializes in child & infant sleep, pre/post-natal sleep, and sleep optimization. Marlee specializes in ADHD & neurodivergent sleep, sleep-disordered breathing, and complex cases. If you're not sure, we'll figure it out during your free consult.
Is this covered by insurance?
Currently our only covered service is Group CBT-I under Registered Counselling Therapy (RCT) or Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC). Some other services may be covered through your health spending account if applicable. We recommend booking a free consult with us if you have any questions, and also checking with your insurance.
I have insomnia — should I book a 1:1?
If you're dealing with chronic insomnia, our Group CBT-I program is the right fit — it's a structured 6-week course built specifically for unlearning insomnia, and it's the most effective evidence-based treatment. 1:1 sessions are designed for sleep optimization, routine-building, and specific situations — not for insomnia treatment. Book a free consult and we'll point you in the right direction.
How is this different from the Group CBT-I program?
Group CBT-I is a structured 6-week course for unlearning chronic insomnia — that's its specific clinical purpose. 1:1 sessions are sleep hygiene coaching: building better routines, optimizing the sleep you're already getting, and handling specific situations. Different goals, different formats.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is necessary. You can book a free consultation directly with us to get started.

I used to dread bedtime. I used to feel broken. Now I feel peaceful, hopeful, rested, and alive. I’m planning travel, I’m living differently, and I want other people to feel this way too.

I’m not afraid of bedtime anymore. I used to dread it. I’d get anxious as the day wore on, knowing I wouldn’t sleep. Now I go to bed and think, I’ve got my device. I’ll sleep.

It changed my entire life. I’m happier. I’m more relaxed. I’m not walking through my day in a fog. I’m not on edge anymore.

I identify as a good sleeper. I don’t really complain about sleep anymore. I used to think about it every day. I don’t think about it anymore. It’s a burden I don’t carry.
