How CBT-I helps with ADHD

Standard CBT-I protocols need to be adapted for ADHD brains — and we know how to do that. We adjust for executive function challenges, medication timing, the need for stimulation, and the reality that rigid schedules don't always work for neurodivergent people.

Common Questions

Can CBT-I work with my ADHD medication?
Absolutely. We work around your medication schedule and can help you optimize timing so stimulants aren't interfering with sleep onset. We'll coordinate with your prescriber if needed.
What if I can't stick to a rigid sleep schedule?
We get it — rigid schedules and ADHD don't always mix. We adapt the protocol to be more flexible while still hitting the key principles. It's about finding what works for your brain specifically.
Is this available as a 30-minute coaching session?
Yes — Marlee offers 30-minute ADHD sleep coaching sessions for focused guidance on specific concerns. Great for accountability education, ADHD-specific sleep education and practical strategies. You can reserve a 30-minute appointment under Services > 1:1 Sessions.
